Hi Everyone,
Today was a great day for Jack! His feedings were increased to 15cc's and Mom was able to do Kangaroo Care for over three hours. The docs are increasing the amount of breast milk that Jack is able to consume almost daily, they still have to be careful because of his size not to over feed.
We meet daily with the docs to discuss Jack's progress, they continue to be positive regarding his health and growth. It seems there is a new term or condition each day that the docs or nurses inform us about that could affect Jack. Mom is very astute regarding the care of her son, she has become a preemie subject matter expert in a very short period.
Thanks to all who have sent their regards. As the saying goes this is a marathon, not a sprint. We see changes daily in Jack's size and mannerisms, he is a strong, determined young man, we are truly blessed to have him.
Thanks to all..........

It was so great to see Jack on Sunday. He's got this adorable little personality and loves to stretch out and take BIG yawns. I could sit and watch him for hours! He looks great!
Now that St. Patrick's Day has passed, we can focus on the next big holiday in Jack's life - White Sox Opening Day!
13 days and counting little buddy!
He's beautiful! I keep checking on him through the site, so keep reporting!
Love, Rocco.
Did you have a baby?
