Tuesday was another good day for Jack, his vitals were strong and his breathing was very good. Jack's nurse Carol changed his feeding tube from his mouth to his nose. It seemed that Jack reacted very well with the change. A physical therapist stopped in to see Jack and was pleased with his progress to date, she said Jack's reflexes and movements are consistent with his age.
It was a wonderful afternoon, Mom was able to Kangaroo, and now that his feeding tube has been removed Jack's expressions are priceless. It was difficult to leave tonight, seeing Jack's first smile was something we'll never forget.
With some of the issues Jack was having last week we failed to mention a number of his visitors. Jack continues to be the most popular preemie on the floor with visits last week from Paula, Dawn, Dan, Alissa, Clarisol, Lace and Gina. We also want to thank the McDermotts, and Nora for making sure Mom and Dad were well fed.
And finally a special thank you to everyone at United. Your calls, emails, flowers, gifts and continuous prayers are very much appreciated.
Thanks,
JMJ

Glad to hear he's doing so well! That is so exciting about his feeding tube being moved. Miss you guys and hope to see you soon. Love, Aunt Nora
