Greetings,

Wanted to let everyone know that the tests performed yesterday on Jack were very encouraging. The ultrasound of Jack's head was negative for any indication of a brain hemorrhage, which is excellent news. The second test was a echocardiagram which determines if Jack's heart is in good condition. The doctor's indicated they saw a small hole in Jack's heart but are hopeful that it will close by itself. Both of these results were very positive for Jack's continued path to good health.

We want to thank everyone for all their positive thoughts and prayers for Jack during these last several days. We are amazed each day by the outpouring of concern all of you have shown our family.

Special thanks to all those at the USMS for their emails, calls and prayers. All your support is very much appreciated.

And a special shout out to everyone in Springfield, Grandpa Dan has been passing on all your good thoughts and wishes. Your concern for our son, Jack, means a great deal to Jim and me. Thank you.

We're hoping to sneak Jack out of the hospital for a few hours early Saturday to see the dying of the river green and a pint or two at Lizzie's with Aunt Nora.

See ya tomorrow.......
JMJ

Hi Margaret!
That is great news. We at the Daughters of Charity Seminary in Evansville, In are praying daily for Jack. Jesus loves the little children - be assured that He is holding Jack in the palm of His hand until you can take over. Also know that we are holding him tight in prayer. love, Sr Lace

I heard Jack will be bartending at Lizzie McNiel's Saturday. Pass it on.

Margaret and Jim,

I am one of many praying for you all and encouraged by Jack's progress. He comes from strong stock and the fact that St. Patrick's day is upon us will work in his favor! Take care, be well and take heart of the many, many folks rooting for you all.

My very best,

Ted McDermott, Jr (Uncle Peter's brother)
