Saturday and Sunday, March 29th & 30th

It was a good weekend for Jack, his continuous feed was stopped and he is currently being fed every three hours. This is a big step for Jack because it will hopefully lead to bottle and breastfeeding. There are a number of hurdles that Jack has to conquer before being released from the NICU and feeding is one of them.

The nurses have been great this weekend, they have really put Mom and Dad to work. No more watching the experts, we can now take Jack in and out of his isollette and be more hands on when it comes to changing, cleaning and feeding young Jack.

Jack thanks all his friends for stopping by and checking on him this weekend, especially Great Uncle Jimmy, Patty, The Bridge and Linda Brady.

Jack reached 3lbs. 3 ounces over the weekend, it's hard to believe that he is almost a month old. We have seen many changes in Jack, he is now very awake and active during his feedings and when the nurses are taking his vitals.

As we head into week 5, we look forward to Jack's continued progress and thank you all again for your thoughts and prayers.

Hey Jack
Its Ryan, I hope you like the present I got you from Disney World. It wasnt the best game by the umpires in the White Sox game today. But in our home opener we'll win.
Love, Ryan
